Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups chopped apples
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts optional
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt
In another bowl, beat eggs, then stir in applesauce and vegetable oil
Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed
Fold in chopped apples and walnuts
Grease the slow cooker insert and pour in the batter
Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
