Ingredients:
- 1 quart chocolate ice cream
- 1 cup toffee bits
- 1/2 cup malted milk powder
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 24 chocolate wafer cookies
Instructions:
Take the chocolate ice cream out of the freezer so it can get a little softer
Heavy cream, whole milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt should all be mixed together in a large bowl until the mixture is smooth
The chocolate ice cream should be softened before being mixed in
Put the mixture in a shallow dish, cover it, and freeze it for about 4 hours, or until it's firm
When the ice cream is firm, put a scoop of it on each of 12 chocolate wafer cookies and cover it with another cookie
If you want, you can roll the edges of each ice cream sandwich in more toffee bits
You can serve them right away or wrap each one in plastic wrap and freeze them until you're ready to serve them
