  • 1/2 cup of frosting
  • 1 package of candy melts assorted colors
  • Assorted Easter-themed sprinkles

Instructions:

Bake the cake as directed on the package, then allow it to cool fully

In a large bowl, crumble the cooled cake into fine crumbs

Melt the candy melts in various bowls as directed on the package

Insert the lollipop sticks into the cake pops after dipping them into the melted candy melts

Let extra run off

While the candy coating is still wet, decorate with a variety of sprinkles featuring an Easter theme

Reposition the cake pops onto the tray and allow them to solidify

Use green food coloring to make shredded coconut look like grass

After the cake pops solidify, place them on a serving platter over a bed of green coconut

Place small chocolate eggs or candies on top of each cake pop to mimic Easter eggs

Keep chilled until you're ready to serve
